What is the difference between a mini session and a full portrait session?

A mini session is 15-20 minutes at a preset Los Angeles location — ideal for families who want updated photos without a large time commitment. A full 1-hour portrait session is built around your specific family with a location chosen together.

Where does Sergio shoot family sessions in Los Angeles?

Mini sessions are held at Pasadena City Hall, Claremont College, and the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Full portrait session locations are chosen in consultation with each family across greater Los Angeles.

Do you do holiday mini sessions in Los Angeles?

Yes. Holiday and Christmas mini sessions are offered every fall and winter, primarily at Pasadena City Hall. Christmas tree photos are available after December 5.

What should we wear for family photos in Los Angeles?

Coordinate rather than match — pick a color palette and let each person wear their own style within it. Neutral tones and earthy colors photograph well at outdoor LA locations. Avoid large logos or busy patterns.

How long until we receive our family photos?

The Signature Collection at $5,800 is the most booked — it includes up to 10 hours, a second photographer, engagement session, and printed album.

Do you photograph graduation sessions at USC in Los Angeles?

Yes. I photograph graduation sessions at USC, CSULA, and other Southern California campuses. Sessions start at $295/hour, with 2-hour packages available. USC sessions typically start at Tommy Trojan.

Wedding Investment

Most of the couples I photograph invest between $3,200 and $6,800 in their wedding coverage. Coverage scales with your day. The most popular collection includes a full ten hours, a second photographer, an engagement session, and a printed album of your favorite frames.

Elopements and intimate ceremonies under 10 guests are offered separately, starting at $1,500.

Yes. Work has taken me from Cabo to Iceland to the South of France. If your wedding is somewhere beautiful, I want to be there.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Shoot may be extended with mutual consent. The hourly collection rate would apply.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, you can pay in full or choose between several payment plan options as long as your balance is paid in full 30 days before your event.

How do we book?

To reserve your date I require a signed contract and a 30% retainer. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
